Hapè (ha - peh)

Also known as Rapè (ra - peh) is a traditional amazonian snuff like powder made from Mapacho (from the tobacco family) and mixed with various other herbs for specific remedies or journeys.

The purpose of sitting with this medicine in ceremony is to provide emotional and physical release, grounding and clarity.

  • Hapè typically causes a slight burning sensation within the nasal cavity followed by a feeling of peace, grounding and clarity. The snuff is blown into the nasal cavity in between breaths, it is not snorted.

    This medicine often causes purging in the forms of tears, runny nose or clearing of mucus.

Cacao

Cacao Ceremony has been a part of Mesoamerica for centuries known as the "food of the Gods", cacao is known to uplift mood and increase vitality. Ceremonial cacao is 100% pure cacao bean paste grown with reverence for its healing properties. The paste is turned into a drink which is consumed in ceremony for its grounding and heart-opening properties.
